Koreans often eat Jjajangmyeon during Black Day. Black Day is an unofficial holiday observed on April 14 each year. It is mostly observed in South Korea by singles. Amazing right? Okay let me explain further. Every February 14, the girls buy a gift for the boys. After a month, during March 14, Koreans celebrate White Day. At this time, boys return the favor and give presents to the girls they like. What happens to those who didn’t receive anything? They celebrate Black Day on April 14! How to Cook Instant Jjajangmyeon?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I recently went to Dongwon Korean Grocery (formerly known as Kossa Mart), located in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. I always go there to buy some meat for our samgyeopsal nights at home. This time I tried their Instant Jjajangmyeon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the noodles into 600 ml of boiling water. Boil the noodles for 5 minutes. Don’t overcook it so it won’t be soggy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drain out the water and leave 2 or 3 tablespoons of water in the bowl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add Seasoning sauce on the noodles. To enjoy it more, you may reheat the sauce by putting it into a boiling water for a minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
