As a newcomer, I have noticed gray areas which need attention. And I took advantage of sharing new perspectives which might help further improve the working environment, branding, and processes. I have shared proposals, some were accepted, some were not, but mostly entertained and implemented. Hearing my suggestions and getting approval gave me an overwhelming sense of acceptance and assurance of work efficiency. It is like achieving one step at a time but leaping success simultaneously.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Gray Areas to Bright Solutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Working Environment<\/strong> – This was my first proposal when I saw the workstation of our Bookkeeper. I have emphasized the importance of a proper, ergonomic-healthy workstation considering the voluminous paperwork she does each day. Her coffee table desk was immediately replaced as well as her office chair. She did not realize the inconvenience until she felt more comfortable in her improved workstation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building Better Brands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Branding<\/strong> – For almost five years, there was no staff Identification Card (ID). Then comes my second proposal – IDs, then another one for the Organizational Chart\/Board improvement and staff photo update, and uniform logo upgrade to digital embroidery. Easy-to-be-identified staff and presentable branding is another accomplished proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Streamlining Processes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Process <\/strong>– A two-manned Treasurer’s Office is understaffed. Attending to daily transactions, preparing monthly and annual reports, budgeting, participating in meetings, activities, and administrative, and logistics provisions are laborious. To help us cope, we always find ways to improve and ease the process of our daily routine. We have established a check and balance. All transactions are documented and recorded, and both of us are always involved.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resilience in Proposal Presentations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I did not stop presenting proposals whenever I see room for improvement even though I was not getting positive responses or no feedback at all.<\/p>\nRenell Pacrin of Mima’s Homey<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

  1. Not all ideas work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  4. Support each other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Provide all options in proposals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Keep presentations simple.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Finding Fulfillment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Whatever your role in the organization, aim to go the extra mile without expecting to be acknowledged or rewarded. Sometimes it is one of the ways where you can find self-fulfillment. If you have satisfaction in what you’re doing, you’ll find joy and cultivate positivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
